8. Use of Google AdWords

This website uses Google AdWords, a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"), on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation, and economic operation of our online services within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Through the Google AdWords service, which is an online marketing method, advertisements are placed in the Google advertising network (e.g. in search results, on websites, etc.). These are then displayed to users who have a presumed interest in the advertisements. We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google+, SoundCloud, and YouTube.

You will find these in the upper right-hand area of our page. We use the so-called 2-click solution. This means that when you visit our page, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of these plug-ins. Only when you click on one of the plug-ins will personal data be transmitted: by activating the plug-in, data is automatically transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (in the case of US providers, in the United States). We have no influence over the data collected and the data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes, or the storage periods. Since the plug-in provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the greyed-out button.

When you activate a plug-in, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our online service. Where the processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest is the conduct of our business operations for the benefit of the wellbeing of all our employees and the company, as well as our shareholders.

15. Disclosure of Data

As set out in section 2 of this statement, your personal data will only be passed on or otherwise transmitted if we are legally required to do so or you have previously given your explicit consent.

Furthermore, your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing, or if you have previously given your consent.
